This release is to celebrate the first victory of World Rally Team racer, Takamoto Katsuta, at the Safari Rally Kenya 2026. G-Shock x Toyota Gazoo Racing
Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) is Toyota’s motorsport division which focuses on developing high performance technology through various international racing events, one of which is the World Rally Championship (WRC). To commemorate the first victory of Toyota racer from Japan, Takamoto Katsuta, at the 2026 Safari Rally Kenya, TGR collaborated with G-Shock to release a special edition GA-2100. This watch is scheduled to go on sale at the WRC Rally Japan 2026 which will take place on 28-31 May 2026.
Katsuta’s victory itself was a historic achievement. He is not only listed as the first Japanese Toyota driver to win the WRC series, but also the first Japanese driver to win a WRC round since 1992, when Kenjiro Shinozuka won with Mitsubishi.

This collaboration was designed using one of G-Shock’s iconic series, namely GA-2100 or usually nicknamed CasiOak because it is octagonal bezelIt’s reminiscent of Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak. So caseDiameter 45.4 mm, thickness 11.8 mm, lug-to-lug 48.5 mm, and water resistant to a depth of 200 meters.
Overall, this watch has a colorful design full black the dashing one. Part call Appears in black with red and white access which refers to the color pattern TGR race car. The TGR logo is embedded at the 12 o’clock position. Then the day indicator needle is on subdials The 9 o’clock position has a striking red color.
Then on to part tie there is the writing ‘TOYOTA GAZOO RACING’ in white which confirms the collaboration with G-Shock.

Just like other G-Shock models, this watch is equipped with standard features such as world time in 48 cities, alarm, stopwatch 1/100 second, countdown timercalendar, 12/24 hour format, to LED backlight which can increase visibility in low light places. Then in part back cover protected by solid stainless steel, with the TGR logo engraved in the middle.
As a collaboration watch, this model has box special red with the TGR logo and writing on the front.
